Bookkeeping

This Bookkeeping Assistant  will assist the company through a variety of tasks related to the financial operations of the business. He/She will present themselves in a professional manner which best represents the mission, vision, and values of the company.


 

This individual will oversee company financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, inventory, and daily financial entries, reviews, and reconciliations of an agriculture and aviation business.


 

This position will allow an individual to contribute their skills and experience in an environment that appreciates and recognizes their value while affording a flexible work schedule.

Job Description:
  • Part time employment estimated at 20 hrs / week

  • Review and manage accounts payable and accounts receivables

  • Maintain up to date and accurate inventory records

  • Review and manage Quickbooks, A/P, A/R, customer, and vendor profiles

  • Processing of payroll 

  • Processing of federal and state income tax payments and forms (941, 941N, FUTA, W-2’s, 1099’s, etc)

  • Assist in customer invoicing

  • Assist in managing vendor accounts as it relates to product purchases and inventory management

  • Assist in handling the renewals of all local, state, and federal agency contracts, lease agreements, licenses, insurance renewals, and will work professionally and efficiently with those agencies.

  • Create, review, and interpret financial reports as related to business operations

Ideal Candidate Requirements:
  • Education or a minimum of 2+ yrs experience in basic soft skills and knowledge of accounting

  • Knowledge and experience of local, state, and federal income and sales tax requirements

  • Experience in payroll processing

  • Must possess and be willing to demonstrate knowledge and skills as it relates to the use of the following programs 

  • QuickBooks

  • Google Apps ( Gmail, G-Suite)

  • Microsoft Word and Excel programs

  • Strong written and oral communication.

  • Organization and attention to detail.

  • Analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Time management.

  • Possess the ability to figure things out through critical thinking and active learning

  • Possess the ability and dedication to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

  • Must be able to work independently

  • Ability to meet deadline requirements

  • Willingness to learn and efficiently operate web based applications

Customer Service Representative 

The Customer Service Representative will provide administrative support and assist in accurate and efficient operations of an Agriculture and Aviation business.  This individual will assist staff, customers, and vendors through a variety of tasks related to day to day operations. He/She will present themselves in a professional manner which best represents the mission, vision, and values of the company.


 

This position will allow an individual to contribute their skills and experience in an environment that appreciates and recognizes their value; and allows opportunities for both financial and personal growth.

 

The starting wage is $15/ hr and is offered as a long-term position that has potential to become full time OR remain part time employment.  Some weekends and travel may be required.

Job Description:
  • Part Time employment estimated at 30 hrs per week

  • Handling phone calls and customer requests

  • Process and distribute email correspondence

  • Provide excellent customer service

  • Assist other employees in other company departments

  • Create and manage customer invoices

  • Create and manage vendor accounts

  • Schedule meetings, appointments, travel, manage employee schedules, and track recurrent training for employees

  • Assist in handling the renewals of all local, state, and federal agency contracts, lease agreements, licenses, insurance renewals, and will work professionally and directly with those agencies

Ideal Candidate Requirements:
  • 2 + years office administrative work experience

  • Basic email, internet, and computer knowledge

  • Experience or the willingness to learn the use of the following programs 

  • QuickBooks

  • Google Apps ( Gmail, G-Suite)

  • Microsoft Word and Excel programs

  • DropBox

  • Asana

  • Social Media platforms

  • Strong written and oral communication

  • Must be able to work independently

  • Organization and attention to detail

  • Time management skills

  • Possess the ability to figure things out through critical thinking and active learning

  • Possess the ability and dedication to get things done efficiently and accurately

  • Ability to meet deadline requirements

  • Willingness to learn and efficiently operate web based applications
